Serious side effects of the tick and flea treatment "Easecto": Young dog "Beer" had acute kidney failure, and died at the age of 7 months
Puppy of 7 months of age got very ill after administration of the tick- and flea treatment "Easecto"
May 30, 2020 - Today exactly 1 year ago I asked the members of the Dutch Facebook group "IS BRAVECTO SAFE" for help. I gave my both dogs a tick and flea treatment that is closely related to Bravecto: "EASECTO". My dog Bello didn't have any issues, but my other dog was very ill afterwards. Convulsions, bloody diarrhea, and vomiting. Bear wasn't very healthy as a puppy, but he was doing much better now. Now I felt so guilty, didn't know what to do. The same evening we went to an emergency vet. The only option was intravenous drip to get the drug out of his system. In the animal hospital, where they did everything they could to save him, we got the message that we had to let him go that day.
Died at the age of 7 months
Unfortunately our sweet "Beer" had to give up the fight on June 13, 2019. Acute kidney failure... He was ONLY 7 MONTHS OLD.
He died at home, in his familiar place, surrounded by his friend Bello, and with us by his side. I quit membership of the Bravecto FB group, because I couldn't cope with it. My sweet "Beer", only 7 MONTHS old. My tough fellow. He is not here anymore. I never felt so much pain and sorrow before.

And of course I feel guilty, because I gave this treatment to my dogs. The vet advised it to me, and I trusted him blindly. We now have a different vet. I want to thank you for all your advise that you gave me at the time. Below you can see pictures of "Beer", and of the treatment that I gave.
I hope to grow awareness about the dangers
Since that day I tell people about the dangers of tick and flea tablets. We will not get "Beer" back, but maybe more people will be aware of it.
