My Labrador "Ben" never had been ill until this first annual visit to the vet. He eventually lost his brave fight after about 3 weeks of suffering- he was only 15 months old. 

Internal bleeding

I lost my beautiful healthy 15 months old Labrador after he took the 12 week oral Bravecto pill for large dogs. He bled internally to death within a few weeks of taking this pill. He literally wasted away and repeated visits back to the vet were futil.

Ben never had been ill

My beautiful 15 month old Ben deteriorated very badly after taking the Bravecto 12 week chew for a dog of his weight with his first annual vaccinations. Had never been ill until that first annual visit to the vet. My beautiful bouncy Ben rapidly lost weight , lethargic, vomiting and black tarry stools… back and forth to the vet but he was seriously bleeding internally - and the vet just couldn’t help although he desperately tried.

Slowly poisoned

He actually said it is as if Ben is being slowly poisoned.  Ben eventually lost his brave fight after about 3 weeks of suffering- he was only 15 months old  - NEVER will I give this medication to my furbabies again - just not worth the risk and the heartbreak. Photos show how he went from a big strong healthy male dog to a weak frail shadow of his former self.

Strangely enough - the vet did say NOT to give my German Shepherd Dog female (who has epilepsy) Bravecto ( should at that point decided to give it to neither of them )- the lab and GSD were 5 days different in age and she had always been our “sickly” pup… on daily meds… people are so shocked to hear that Ben passed away at such a young age when it is Sheba we always felt was on borrowed time.
